Career Support

Career Support

We have a variety of support systems in place at this university for international students who wish to work in Japan.

▶ International Student Guidance

We offer guidance tailored to international students, including explanations regarding seeking employment in Japan, work visas, resumes, application forms, group discussions, and interview processes.

▶ Individual Interviews

We offer further detailed support through interviews with career advisors, including advice on correcting resumes and application forms, as well as practice group discussions and interviews.

▶ On-campus Company Information Sessions

Companies with the desire to employ international students are made clear at industrial research seminars and corporate information sessions held on-campus.

▶ Regular Courses: Career Development Seminars and Internship Programs

In career development seminars, students work on projects in collaboration with local companies and organizations. In addition, we offer university-approved internship programs in which students can gain valuable work experience at a range of Kyoto businesses. International students are welcome in both of these courses.

■Support for Career Development and Finding Employment

We offer guidance and seminars on how to organize job hunting materials, employment consultations, and job hunting itself as a way of supporting students in identifying their own career goals during their studies.
We also offer courses and guidance on qualification exams to support students seeking licenses or qualifications.
