喜多研究室

第二言語習得の成否に関わる重要な要因である「動機づけ」に注目して、授業改善について研究します。外国映画や音楽を教材として導入し、英語の背景にある文化を理解することを通して実践される授業が、学習者の学習意欲や英語力向上にどのような影響を及ぼすのかについての調査研究などが挙げられます。さらに、異文化理解に関心を持つ皆さんと一緒に、アメリカ現代文化史に焦点を当てて、映画や小説に込められたメッセージや「時代を動かす人物とその言葉」などについて研究を進めましょう。
