Kyoto Notre Dame University has established thorough scholarship programs so that international students can study with peace of mind.

■School Expense Scholarship Programs

We have established the following scholarship programs for international students at this university.

Matriculation Fee Exemption Total matriculation fees (¥200,000) are exempted for international students studying at their own expense All applicants who meet application requirements
Tuition Fee Reduction Annual tuition fees are reduced by 30% (¥252,000) for international students studying at their own expense All applicants who meet application requirements (*1)

Type 1
Scholarship System
A scholarship program for international students studying at their own expense. An annual scholarship of ¥300,000 is paid (apply after admittance). All applicants who meet application requirements
(However, students must maintain good academic performance)
Type 2
Scholarship System
A program that offers a scholarship for part of the dormitory fees for international students studying at their own expense who move into the designated dormitory (College House Matsugasaki)
An annual scholarship of ¥180,000 is paid (apply after admittance).
All applicants that are allowed to move into the dormitory (*2)
(However, students must maintain good academic performance)
(*1) The following students are not eligible for fee reductions: students deemed financially blessed with more than ¥90,000 sent per month (excluding entrance fees and tuition), students studying abroad in a third country while enrolled at this university, students deemed as not having the intent to continue studying in consideration of attendance, students deemed to have no prospects for success due to academic underachievement, students repeating a year of studies, and students who are on academic break.
(*2) Students cannot move into the dorm if there are no available rooms at the designated dorm. Students are not eligible for scholarship payments if dorm regulations are not followed after moving in, dorm fees are not paid, or the student takes academic break or moves out of the dorm.

School expenses are paid in two installments: April (first semester) and October (second semester).
